We choose The Parker Palm Springs for it’s funky, chic, and elegant vibe. It embodies all of the things we love: fun cocktails, outdoor settings, uniqueness, amazing design, and beautiful sunny palm trees everywhere.

For the look and style of the wedding I wanted a lot of black / gold and modern elements. I knew we needed an amazing pop of color and decided on hot pink. We incorporated palms as centerpieces and table runners as a nod to the beautiful setting and to add some greenery. I pinned a lot of unique flowers and arrangements. After meeting and talking to our amazing florist Luna she really understood my vision and helped it come together! Cathy and Dorry of COJ Events had great ideas and it was ultimately a team effort bringing the initial vision together.

Haley of COJ Events created big signs at each venue (ceremony, reception and cocktail) named after favorite bands and songs. For example, the ceremony was The Doors- Hello I love You. Each table at the wedding was also named after one of our favorite artists!  We sat at The Prince Table.

Its not every year that we get to welcome in the New Year with a wedding, but we were blessed last year with the opportunity to create a stylish bash for a delightful Seattle couple!  Tracy & Kyle had a clear vision of the type of elegant event they wanted to celebrate their wedding day and we had fun making it happen!

We brought together black and gold elements including luminous decor from Maggie Jensen, a stunning black and gold shimmering linen for the head table from La Tavola and lighting from the Perfect Touch! Escort cards were hung on New Years eve blowers, the photo booth props were all black and gold and glitter, and the New Year was welcomed not only with a champagne toast but with a massive balloon drop!

Meg & Sean came to us with the idea to have an elegant yet relaxed and fun party/wedding – minus the formality of a sit down dinner.  We were all in!! The Parker Palm Springs was the perfect setting for the festivities, and after a beautiful sunset ceremony the guests were escorted to the traditional cocktail hour under an edgy modern lighting canopy.

The doors opened to the ballroom to reveal a cool lounge vibe ready for a dance party! A combination of sofas, low tables, cocktail rounds and bar tables allowed for mingling & feasting on the variety of food stations set up in the back.  Fabulous decor and rentals from Arrangements and AFR were illuminated by a lighting back from Arrangements.  Guests danced all night long to the hot sounds of the band Into the Night from City Connection.

Sparkle. Simplicity. Elegance. Liz and Jeff’s black-tie affair was a day of love, laughter, and lots of happy tears. Both knew Palm Springs was the perfect place to show their love with their close friends and family.

The floral style was executed beautifully by local Joshua Tree florist, Blooming Gypsy. Veronica captured the sleek simplicity of Liz’s vision and used soft white roses, an abundance of greenery, and a variety of candles to create the reception look.

Because it’s #tbt and we’re in the midst of the Rio Summer Olympics, we’re going to throw it back to Hawaii 10 years ago (yes we’ve been in the business awhile, despite our youthful good looks!) to the beautiful wedding of Olympic Women’s Soccer Gold-Medalist Aly Wagner and her handsome husband Adam!

Nothing is sweeter than planning a wedding for those we hold dearest to our hearts! Close family friend, this couple chose the historic La Chureya Estate in Palm Springs for a three-day celebration over the July 4th weekend.  Festivities included a Saturday Pool Party at the estate complete with flamingos and swans, followed by a White Party Rehearsal Dinner at LuLu Palm Springs. The grooms wanted a simple yet vibrant Palm Springs wedding with only their closest family and friends. One of the gooms hails from India and elements of his heritage were infused into the wedding. So of course there were elephant (little gold ones!), marigolds, henna, traditional garb, dancing, and color galore! An Indian wedding with color is always a good idea!

Even though wedding day dawned sunny and a sultry 110′, nothing could keep the infectious excitement from spreading! With help from their friends and family, especially one of the grooms oldest friends from India, the grooms danced down the aisle to a choreographed Bollywood number.  The Signature Party Rental team help install 20 sari’s the family brought from India to create a canopy over the ceremony seating and a Mandap for the grooms to stand under. The Mandap garlands at the back were handmade by the grooms mother.  After a photo shoot, the grooms did a quick change from Indian attire to Palm Springs Casual, making their special day completely unforgettable!

We chose vendors that were able to bring in a Indian / American fusion vibe including caterer Fusion Flair that created a paneer appetizer for the vegetarian guests. Florist Mary Cass captured an elegant, vibrant color style for the dining tables; DJ Chris Paul rocked the crowd with a mix of American and Bollywood tunes! Signature Party Rentals provided the tabletop, purple wine glasses and gold chaivari chairs which highlighted the bright Indian color palette. Cupcakes and Desserts from Over the Rainbow Cupcakes featured matching vintage groom and groom figures.

  160528-Israel-Drew-Welcome-1202

Heading from one Sunshine state to another, Drew and Israel chose to have their wedding at the Mountain Dunes Clubhouse at the beautiful La Quinta Resort Golf Club.  Drew, a fast talking, sweet spirited, big idea guy from Chicago and Israel, a reserved, brilliant, kind hearted Cuban from Miami compliment each other perfectly. They fell in love after Israel suffered a broken neck in an accident in Miami and just happened to wind up in the hospital Drew worked at.  Months of rehab later, they knew they were meant to be together and fifteen years later they decided to share their love with their friends and family in a desert destination wedding.

Drew & Israel wanted to bring a hint of Gatsby and South Beach to their wedding style, and the black and gold stationary elements and custom branding was complimented with desert colors and pops of orange.  Working from a Minted invitation, custom elements were designed for the program, wishing cards and swag for the gift bags.

The grooms wore bespoke grey and blue suits with complimentary air plant boutonnieres. At the wedding ceremony overlooking the lake at the Clubhouse, Drew & Israel shared personal vows at a simple ceremony officiated by Cathy O’Connell. Milton Merlos serenaded the crowd as the grooms walked down the aisle with a piece of original music on classic guitar.

Desert colors accented by pops of orange were featured in the floral arrangements designed by Jensen’s Floral.  Chris Paul provided a nonstop night of dancing with his music video projections, highlighted by an array of colorful up lights from Perfect Touch (who also lit the stunning mountain backdrop behind dinner)! Callaway Gable Studios captured it all beautifully, effortlessly highlighting Drew and Israel’s palpable love for each other amongst the classic desert setting.
