Lindsay and Brad’s Stone Eagle Palm Desert wedding

Lindsay and Brad loved the idea of a destination wedding where friends and family spent an entire weekend getting to know one another. With Palm Springs as their chosen location, STONE EAGLE GOLF CLUB was a natural choice of venue with it’s spectacular mountain views. Lindsay loves neutrals and settled on a palette of blush, mauve, maroon, deep purples and grays and planner COJ EVENTS implemented the pared-back hues in fabulous fashion. A casual elegance underlies the design in the both the outdoor ceremony and garden reception and florals by ARRANGEMENTS FLORAL AND PARTY DESIGN are spilling from every detail. Stationery is by UNION STREET PAPER, cake by EXQUISITE DESSERTS and it’s all captured by BIRDS OF A FEATHER PHOTOGRAPHY.

Lipstick Lesbian Palm Springs Engagement Session – Equally Wed

Megan and Whitney (Wegan as they are known to followers of their blog) have a unique, beautiful love story of how they met and came to be married.

“We first met online for a few years (thank you Myspace & Facebook!) and met in person when Whitney came over to the UK to study abroad in September 2008,” the couple shares in their about page on What Wegan Did Next. “We had never admitted to liking each other online but two weeks later on 5th October 2008 we were officially girlfriend & girlfriend. For the next few months we saw each other in Cardiff & London until it was time for Whit to sadly move back to Hawaii to finish her degree, and we embarked on 4 years of LONG distance.”

Alex and Dylan at The Colony Palms Hotel -Vogue Magazine

“After little debate, Alexandra and Dylan decided on a destination wedding in Palm Springs—“We’ve both loved it ever since we were kids,” says Alexandra. “And the Colony Palms Hotel is the perfect level of low-key beauty. The old-school California–meets–Moroccan-inspired design was the exact aesthetic we were looking for.” They embraced the surroundings, bringing in nearly 200 more lanterns and opting for greenery and citrus over tons of flowers. “We felt so lucky about having so many special people around us and wanted everyone to be able to get to know each other and have an easy, relaxing time in a beautiful setting,” adds Alexandra.”

Tori and Rob – Parker Palm Springs – Style Me Pretty

“Cathy and Dorry of COJ Events had great ideas, and it was ultimately a team effort bringing the vision together. For our printed materials, we chose a white and gold foil dot card for the Save the Dates. We followed the theme with the invites, menu cards, and table assignments. We incorporated a deep black into the invites as well. Haley from COJ Events created big signs for each venue (ceremony, reception, and cocktail) named after favorite bands and songs. For example, the ceremony was The Doors, “Hello I love You.” Each table at the wedding was also named after one of our favorite music artists! We sat at The Prince Table.”
