Nicole Benvenutti

Director of Sales & Marketing

Hi, my name is

Nicole Benvenutti

Originally from Houston, TX I have a BA in music and theater performance from Rhodes College and a MS in Hospitality Management from The University of Houston.  I am also a graduate of the Gaeity School of Acting - The National Theater School of Ireland and am certified in armed and unarmed stage combat!
After a successful singing career in the United States and Europe I began my quest into luxury with De Beers Diamond Jewelers and found my love for event planning by doing the store events.  It was perfect - I was able to be creative, put on a show/staged production and make a difference to people. After launching a wedding planning business in Houston, I packed my bags and moved to NYC after accepting a job with the legendary Plaza Hotel.  From The Plaza, I joined Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Las Vegas as a Catering Manager and then Santa Fe as a Director of Catering and Conference Services.  The pull of Southern California moved my family and I to the Waldorf Astoria, La Quinta Resort which introduced me to the amazing COJ family!

My greatest skill when it comes to wedding planning is:

My greatest skill when it comes to wedding planning is listening. The wedding should be a reflecting of the couple and every couple is different and unique. No two couples are alike, so no two weddings should be either! By listening to who the couple is and what they want to create allows me to create a wedding unlike any other before.

What I love most about wedding planning is:

Making a different to people. To look back at something so special and know that you were a part of something that impacted someone so deeply.... there is nothing better.

My dream dinner guest and why:

Anthony Bourdain. There is still so much I want to know, learn and find out! He would cook... I'll bake!

My bucket-list vacation spot and who I'd bring:

Fiji with my husband. I love the mountains and my husband loves the ocean. Seems like the perfect fit!

If I could get away with it, I would...

I would… Kiss Hugh Jackman (Am I allowed to say that? LOL) Really though, if I could, I would love to travel for a year around the world and see everything!

If I could go back in time, I would go to...

the Renaissance

If I could have any superpower, it would be...

to save the planet.

My spirit animal is a

Niffler (from Fantastical Beasts). They're cute, love cuddles and drawn to anything that sparkles!

Niffler (from Fantastical Beasts). They're cute, love cuddles and drawn to anything that sparkles!

The 3 words that describe me best:

Passionate, musical and caring

The TV show I can not miss is

I don't have one now, but it used to be Stargate SG1. I'm obsessed with Big Bang reruns and I grew up never missing Star Trek Next Generation or Deep Space Nine.

If I could trade lives with anyone for a day, it would be...

Audra McDonald. I left my performing career early. I had a lot of success, but saw other opportunities. I would love to know what it is like to live a day in a multi Tony winner actress's life.

The advice I live by:

Be the change you wish to see in the world.

If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be...

Salad. No kidding! I LOVE them!

I never leave home without...

Kissing my two sons goodbye.

Kissing my two sons goodbye.

My hidden talent:

Violin. I hardly tell anyone I used to play.

The last book I read:

Dan Brown - Origin
